York is truly an amazing city. I felt in a medieval movie every time I walked around downtown and the people are very warm and welcome. It’s a medium size city but with the feel of a small town. I got  to live with people from different countries and cultures and learned so much things from them, it’s amazing how meeting new people can bring you a rich learning experience and how the world suddenly seems big and wonderful. It has little tea rooms and cafés and a vivid nightlife. You can go to Betty’s if you fancy some tea, or Cafe Rouge for a delicious meal. And at night, the Hole in the Wall is a perfect place for a pint with live music and The Plough, a traditional English pub that has the best chocolate fudge cake that I have tasted in my entire life, oh, and two resident cats.
